Please remember that there is no school Monday, February 17th. We will see all of our Cubs back on Tuesday!

Our Cubs with birthdays in February visited the vending machine yesterday and chose a book for their birthday. Thanks PTO for this awesome way to make our birthdays special!

Mrs. Dillโs first graders are embarking on an adventureโฆ The Great Mail Race! ๐บ๐ธ
We are working to get a letter from a school in all 50 states. If you have a loved one that lives in another state please drop their elementary address below and we will send a letter to their school.
We have a map up in our room and will mark off each state when we receive a letter from them. Check back later to see what arrives!

SCES would like to support our military-connected families! Please complete this form: https://bit.ly/milconfam to share your thoughts on how we can do that.

Last week Mrs. Blumeier's first graders learned more about the number 100! They licked a lollipop 100 times, made patterns with 100 fruit loops, made trail mix and many more activities!

We hope you'll consider joining us for our annual career day! Sign up to speak here: https://bit.ly/scescareerday25

Due to a significant increase in illness affecting both our students and staff, Spencer County Schools will implement Non-Traditional Instruction (NTI) Days on February 4th and 5th, 2025.
TigerCub Village will be CLOSED as well.
Students should follow the NTI expectations that have communicated by their teachers and school. Staff will be available during the school day to provide support as needed.
We look forward to welcoming everyone back as soon as humanly possible.

National School Counselor Appreciation Week Feb. 3rd- Feb 7th
Huge shoutout to the incredible hearts of our school counselors, Mrs. Phillips and Mrs. Summers! They're our listeners, our supporters, and our champions, helping our Cubs navigate all the big and small things that come with growing up. We're so lucky to have them guiding our kids with kindness and understanding. Let's also give a round of applause for Ms. Jenny and Ms. Kaycie, our amazing therapists, who provide extra care and support within our school community. Thank you all for everything you do for our students!
