Ms Hutchins class enjoyed a glow day this week. It was so much fun that our friend, Luna, joined in the fun!

Mrs. Dill’s class had a camping day this week. Students LOVED learning about bugs, the forest habitat, making fireflies, and having a s’mores snack. ⛺️

Purple pod was so excited to celebrate our graduating seniors that have spent the year helping us! We know that Addison, Haley, Lilly, and Luke are going to do great things! Love our SCES alumni coming back to serve our students. ❤️

Our Cubs with birthdays in May & June visited the vending machine last Friday and chose a book for their birthday. Thanks PTO for this awesome way to make our birthdays special! *July birthdays visit in August*

Our Office of Educational Technology has been made aware of a hazardous trend circulating on social media platforms, particularly TikTok. Students are being encouraged to insert conductive materials—such as pencils, aluminum foil, or paper clips—into USB and other ports on school-issued Chromebooks. The intent is to create sparks and smoke, often leading to fires. This behavior poses significant health and safety risks. Tampering with electronic devices can cause short circuits, potentially igniting fires. Such actions can render Chromebooks inoperable. We urge all parents and guardians to have immediate conversations with their children about the dangers of participating in this or any similar challenges.

Today we powered up the excitement with our KSA Pep-Rally to cheer on our awesome 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade Cubs as they get ready to crush the Kentucky Summative Assessment! From video game power-ups to sports huddles and board game strategy — our Cubs are geared up, locked in, and ready to WIN. This week, it's all about teamwork, focus, and giving it 110%.
