Last week our 5th Grade GT Cubs hit the trails at Bernheim Forest for their Hike to the Giants adventure! ๐ป๐ฅพ They explored the incredible giant sculptures and discovered how nature, art, and storytelling connect in fun and meaningful ways. ๐จ๐ฟ๐
Along the way, our Cubs shined as Engaged Citizens and Empowered Learners, asking questions, making connections, and appreciating the beauty of creativity in the world around them. ๐ก๐ฌ๐

November is National Homeless Youth Awareness Month. The SC McKinney-Vento Program is selling t-shirts promote awareness and raise funds that goes directly back to students in need. This program serves students in temporary or transitional housing, here in SC Public Schools. Students will be encouraged to wear GREEN every Friday in November. All orders will go through HUCKLEBERRY LANE and you will be INVOICED via email or text for payment.

Our 5th grade Cubs teamed up with the SCHS 3D Design class to create something special for our community! ๐ป๐ Together, they designed and 3D-printed tokens to hand out at the District Veterans Day Parade ๐บ๐ธ๐๏ธ โ a perfect blend of creativity, technology, and teamwork! ๐ก๐ค

November is National Homeless Youth Awareness Month. Please support awareness and the SCPS McKinney-Vento program by purchasing a GREEN shirt. Students and staff will be encouraged to wear GREEN every Friday in November.
Coming during November...McKinney-Vento will also have a donation drive for FRYSC and District Penny War in collaboration with the MS & HS Beta Clubs.

Mrs. Petersโ kindergarten Cubs rolled up their sleeves and got messy exploring pumpkins! ๐โจ They scooped out seeds, felt all the gooey pulp, counted seeds, and labeled the parts of a pumpkin to discover whatโs inside. ๐ฑ๐
