Mrs. Tobbe's 3rd graders are playing a game called Double Up! to make the connection between addition and multiplication.



Angelica Solis, senior at SCHS came to read a book, in Spanish, to Miss Lowe and Mrs. Thomasโ classes. She came to show their classes the superpowers our ELL friends posses each day while learning in a language other than their native one! ๐๐ป

Our Cubs with birthdays in July and August visited the vending machine last Friday and chose a book for their birthday. Thanks PTO for this awesome way to make our birthdays special!







Ms. Mac's class read "If You Give A Pig A Pancake". They made pancakes together and made a pig craft. Then, they did a sequencing activity on how we made pancakes.











Mrs. Dillโs first graders have been hard at work this week. They discussed characters, realistic fiction, nouns, and using number bonds to help find the sum.








Our Cubs wore red today to
celebrate kindergarten learning. We are a team here at SCES!










We encourage everyone to wear RED today!


Miss Lowe and Mrs. Thomasโ classes celebrated their โgolden day of third gradeโ with a three minute dance party at 3 o'clock in the third day of third grade!





Mrs. Smithโs math classes are working hard to have GRIT! They are realizing the importance of being an active collaborator and effective communicator while working with their teams!











Ms. Ledford's class had fun using shaving cream to write their letters. They also used "magic wands" to read and track words.

Kindergarten and new Cub house reveal will be Friday, August 23rd!


Students in Mrs. Thomas' class were working on creating arrays. Students rolled a dice to help them create their arrays.





Mrs. Johnson's class enjoyed jitter juice on the first day of school!

๐ดโโ ๏ธWe are reading "Teach Like a Pirate." We will be sharing how this book is inspiring our teachers in their classrooms this year.
