If youโve ever thought about driving a school bus but werenโt sure if it was for you, come out to our Test Drive a Bus event on Tuesday, September 15 from 5:00โ7:00 PM at the Spencer County Bus Garage, 1430 Townhill Road.
We are looking for both full-time and part-time/substitute bus drivers.
There are a lot of great things about driving a school bus โ a 180-day work calendar, working on the school schedule, summers and school breaks off, paid training, and benefits for full-time employees. It can be a great fit for retirees, parents, or anyone looking for a schedule that gives you more time at home.
You do not need a CDL or any previous bus driving experience to come out. Thatโs what weโre here for! Come meet our team, get behind the wheel, and see what driving a school bus is actually like.
Sometimes you just have to try it to know if itโs for you.

TES Archery Info-
Archery Team tryouts are September 8th and 11th from 4:00-6:00PM. Students only need to sign up for one date. Signing up for tryouts gives your student permission to stay after school. A max of 40 archer each date will be allowed to tryout.
All personal bows need to be dropped off in the office.
At dismissal from School, students will need to report to the cafeteria. Before tryouts, students are welcome to bring a snack and a drink to enjoy. Once completed, archers will be released from the back door of the gym.

Reminder early release day is tomorrow! Students must be picked up at 1:40 and buses will run their same routes beginning at 1:40 instead of 3:40! If you need to make a transportation change, you must send a note or email tes.transportation@spencer.kyschools.us

This is NOT a tryout to join the team. Instead, this is a great opportunity for new archers (4th & 5th Grade) interested in joining the archery team and for those to refresh their skills before tryouts after a long summer break. Itโs also free.
ONLY the student who have signed up will stay after school. They can bring a snack and a drink. No equipment necessary. However, if they have their own, they are welcome to bring it. We only use NASP approved equipment. Please note, bows are not allowed on the bus, but they can be dropped off in the office at TES before 4:00 on Sept 1st.

Good Morning!
All TES buses have safely arrived at TES. The bus accident was route 17, which an SCES bus. We are sorry for any confusion and concern this may have caused.
There has been an accident involving Route 17 on Mount Washington Road. All students are accounted for, and there are no reported injuries.
We appreciate everyoneโs patience and understanding. We will provide more information as it becomes available.
2 more days to place your house shirt orders!! If your student has outgrown theirs or even misplaced it, this is your chance to order a new one. ORDERS ARE DUE FRIDAY 8/21! Kindergarten and new students will NOT need to order, as you will be provided one when students are sorted.
